Hershey Volunteer Fire Company swiftly responded to a kitchen fire incident at the 1300 block of Columbia Drive earlier today. Upon arrival at the scene, units from the Hershey Volunteer Fire Company, identified as #PalmyraFire, encountered flames visible from the second floor rear of the building. Immediate command action facilitated the quick containment and suppression of the fire, preventing further escalation and ensuring the safety of residents and property. Command declared the situation under control shortly after, marking a successful containment of the incident. Currently, fire crews are engaged in comprehensive overhaul operations, ensuring complete extinguishment and addressing any residual risks.
