Engine 48-1


2006 Seagrave

Engine 48-1 ia a 2006 Seagrave 2000 gpm. pump, 750 gallon tank, 30 gallon Class A foam tank, 30 gallon Class B foam tank. Crosslays consist of two 1 3/4 inch, one 2 inch, and one 2 1/2 inch attack lines. The hose bed contains both 3 and 5 inch hose. A 1250 gpm. Akron remote-control deluge gun is mounted behind the cab. An additional portable deluge set is also carried.

Traffic 48 is a 2005 Car-Mate Trailer and carries equipment for controlling traffic around emergency incidents.

 
 
Chief 48


2004 GMC Yukon

Chief 48 drives a 2004 GMC Yukon. This unit carries a dry chemical and pressurized water extinguishers. It has a Motorola portable/mobile radio mounted in the rear of the vehicle aside of a command post control board and an MSA air pack.

 
 
Utility 48


2004 GMC Sierra

Utility 48 is a 2004 GMC Sierra crew cab pick-up with a Stahl body. With four wheel drive capability. It carries some basic firefighting & Emergency medical equipment and also carries aan Automatic External Defibulator.. This is the primary tower of the Fire Safety House.

 
 
Fire Prevention Unit


2003 Scotty RV Fire Prevention Trailer

The Fire Safety Trailer is a 2003 ScottyRV Fire Prevention Trailer. The trailer comes to us as part of our 2002 FEMA grant. The trailer joins Cubby the Bear and Patches the Fire Dog in our arsenal of fire prevention tools. It is equipped with a full sized smoke house (including alarms, strobes, fire hazards, and even a heated door), a live fire sprinkler demonstration room, and a tornado preparedness program. The trailer also has monitors on the exterior so folks not participating may see the action in the trailer. Participants may also practice their skills of dialing 911 for help. The trailer is ADA compliant and is available for programs by emailing the Fire Prevention Officer.

 
 
Air 48


1999 International 4900 / New Lexington

Air 48 is a 1999 International 4900/New Lexington Air unit. It has a 33 CFM Eagle air compressor with a three vessel 6000 psi air cascade system. A 300 foot high/low pressure air hose reel is in an exterior compartment for remote filling. Lighting is provided by two extending pole mount 500 watt flood lights on the front of the unit and two removable extending tri pods mounted on the rear. Also six built in scene lights around the vehicle. This unit also carries a 20 KW generator.

 
 
Duty Officer 48


1999 Ford Expedition

Duty Officer Unit is a 1999 Ford Expedition. It carries a dry chemical extinguisher. It also has an MSA air pack mounted in the rear of the vehicle. There is a toolbox with various hand tools. first aid box. set of irons. rope bag and boost pack. This unit is driven by the on duty officer for each week

 
 
Attack 48


1998 Freightliner / S&S

Attack 48, is a Four Wheel Drive 1998 Freightliner/S&S. It has a 750 gpm. Waterous pump, a 550 gal. booster tank, and a 20 gal. Class A Foam tank. There is a 95 gpm. bumper mounted remote control (from the drivers seat) Foam nozzle. There are 2 two 1 3/4" cross lays. Drivers side reel of 11/2 inch hard hose and an officers side reel with 11/2 flat forestry hose. The hose bed holds 800 feet of four inch hose. Attack 48 is equipped with an Automatic External Defibrillator.

 
 
Deputy Chief 48


1997 Ford Expedition

Deputy Chief 48 drives a 1997 Ford Expedition. It carries a dry chemical extinguisher. It also has an MSA air pack mounted in the rear of the vehicle. There is a toolbox with various hand tools. First aid box. Set of Irons. Rope bag and Boost pack. This unit is driven by the Deputy Fire Chief.

 
 
Special Unit 48


1994 Ford F350

Special Unit 48 is a 1994 Ford F350 crew cab pick-up with four wheel drive capability. It has a front mounted winch. It carries some basic firefighting equipment. This is the primary tower of the Fire Police trailer.

 
 
Truck 48


1994 Duplex / Saulsbury / Baker

Truck 48 is a 1994 Duplex/Saulsbury/Baker with a 95' telescoping platform. It has a Harrison 15 KW generator with floodlights mounted on the body. A total of 158 feet of ground ladders is carried on this unit. There is a full line of truck equipment including a Hurst tool. Truck 48 is equipped with an Automatic External Defibrillator.

 
 
Engine 48-2


1993 Spartan / Darley

Engine 48-2 is a 1993 Spartan/Darley. It has a 2000 gpm Darley pump and a 750 gal. booster tank. There are two cross lays and two hose reels of 1 3/4" hose. There is a 10 KW Harrison generator. A 1000 gpm. stang deluge gun is mounted on top of the apparatus. The main hose bed carries 5" and 3" hose. Engine 48-2 is equipped with an Automatic External Defibrillator.

 
 
Rescue 48


1991 Spartan / SWAB

Rescue 48 is a 1991 Spartan/SWAB heavy rescue vehicle. Rescue gear includes two Hurst spreaders, two Hurst 150 O-cutters, Hurst rams (multi sizes), various size air bags and a variety of air operated tools. A high pressure 200 foot hose reel with manifold is included. Lighting includes cab and body-mounted flood lights and a rear mounted light tower. Power is provided by a 30 KW Harrison generator. There is a winch mounted at the rear of the vehicle. The back interior of the rescue is a command post area with various radios, phones, computer and resource & technical information. Rescue 48 is equipped with an Automatic External Defibrillator.

 
 
Engine 48


1986 Spartan / Interstate

Engine 48 is a 1999 Spartan/Interstate Pumper with an '86 Pierce 2000 gpm. Waterous pump and a 1000 gal. booster tank 40 gal. Class A foam tank 40 gal. Class B foam tank. Mounted on top of the vehicle is a 2000 gpm stang deck gun. The seven cross lays have five 1 3/4" hose lines and two 3" lines. The main hose bed carries 1800 feet of five inch hose. The Engine also carries a Hurst Omni rescue tool and a six KW generator. Engine 48 is equipped with an Automatic External Defibrillator.
